Savings

Here is a little bit about me. I enjoy saving money. It is a thrill to find good deals and know that I didn’t have to spend as much money. Then save the money I would have spent for future use.

I remember being a little girl, and my father showing me my savings account statement for the first time. He explained to me that the bank would pay me interest for having my money. From that day forward I was hooked on saving money. Don’t get me wrong I’ve made mistakes. We are all human. Saving isn’t easy. Managing money isn’t easy either. Now that I’m a little older and wiser I’ve learned to be debt-free.

Let’s get started on saving more and being a bit wiser doing it!

One of my favorite websites is Hot Coupon World ! HCW is a great website to learn about coupons. This is where I learned a lot about CVS and other store deals. When I find interesting posts I will include them here.

I also subscribe to The Grocery Game. It is a list you pay for that helps you find great deals at local stores in your area. I highly recommend starting with this for a trial period or longer. It’s an easy way to get started with coupons.

My favorite blog is The Thrifty Mama. The Thrifty Mama has a fantastic blog that talks about everything from Natural and Organic products to shopping thrifty at CVS, Walgreens and Publix.

  1. Hey, just thought I would mention that couponmom.com does the same thing that the Grocery Game does, but it is free. I actually found that there were a lot of errors on the Grocery game when I tried it out. Just thought I would mention that for anyone that didn’t know about the Coupon Mom.
