When should I throw away my inserts?

When I started collecting coupons and organizing them by date I realized that it wasn’t easy to figure out when to throw them away.  I’ve created this schedule so that you too can decide when to throw away your inserts or cut them up and send them overseas.

I will be working on this page to include the dates the coupons expire. Please leave me a comment if you find an error.

I write the date of the insert on the side of the insert on both the right and left side and then the date it expires in the center. I then store them in a file folder by month showing the side.  I find this to be very easy since I don’t have much time.

NOTE: As of 2/21/2009, the Washington Post doesn’t include the RP coupons. I will continue to include the expiration date for reference and will highlight it in green because I don’t get it anymore in my newspaper. As of 3/1/2009, I do get the RP in my mailbox. As of 8/8/09,  the Washington Post includes the RP coupons!!!
