CVS Trips on 12/12/2008

CVS, Shopping Trips, Uncategorized
All of us were sick with the cold this weekend.  Friday I hoped to get some errands done but instead spent the day on the couch with the baby.  That evening my dear husband took the three of us out to run some of the errands.  We went to one CVS to return a prescription and went to another to pick one up.  I'm going to write a post about this later but if you are a bargain shopper you MUST train your spouse not to buy things off the list.  My dear husband loves to shop. When I returned my prescription, I bought some pedialyte for our daughter. 2 Pedialyte 5.49 each -4 ECB -5/2 Pedialyte liters Tax .17 OOP 2.15  (Should have used GC!) The cashier was so…

CVS Black Friday Planned Trip 11/28/2008

I had a great day on Friday! I got up early and went to Walmart and got some great deals. I really want to post them but, unfortunately they are Christmas presents. Some are for family and some are for my husband. Here is the plan I tried to attack! After my Walmart deals I ended up at two different CVS stores. Actually, three different stores. The first one wasn't open yet. Oh well! Since, I got an email for 5/30 to use this weekend I had to go to CVS, especially when they had so many free items. I used 1 card during these trips. My plan for my 1st transaction: 2 Bic Soleil single razor w/2 cartridges & shower holder = $5.99 Get $5.99 ECB Limit 2 11/2…

Understanding CVS

CVS, Uncategorized
CVS has some great deals. Before this year, I never thought I would be shopping at CVS so much. I always thought CVS was very expensive. In fact, for a lot of items it is, but if you think about their business model it makes perfect sense. CVS stands for Consumer Value Store, and is a neighborhood drugstore and convenience store. For a normal consumer walking in to get their prescription filled they walk into the store through the aisles and pick up a couple items that they need before approaching the pharmacy. Then to bring in more consumers they put items on sale. While some products cost more, others are cheaper. Then CVS went a little further, they provide ExtraCare Bucks (ECB) which are wonderful! ECBs are coupons at…

CVS Purchases today 11/16/08

CVS, Uncategorized
I love CVS! I received in my email a $5/$30 coupon. These are great coupons to get from CVS because it takes off dollars directly off your purchase. You want to get your subtotal at the amount required and not much over that. These coupons come in different amounts some examples include: $2/$10, $3/$15, $4/$20, and $5/$30. To get coupons like these via email you need to call CVS ExtraCare Bucks department. The number is on the back of the ExtraCare card. Ask the representative to add you to their email list because you would like to get coupons. Usually, within the day you will get a $4/$20 coupon that you can use that week. The coupons they email are sent for only the intended receiver to use. The best…
