The Cost of Diapers 2010 – February Update

Baby, Big Lots, CVS, Rite Aid, Uncategorized, Walmart
After adding in my diaper purchases for January and February here is what I've spent so far on diapers this year. I will be getting additional rebates for the Rite Aid Pampers and will subtract that when I get it. This last week I got my rebate check from Caregivers Market Place- $12.50!   Not bad for saving my receipts for Huggies diapers and a few other products then at the end of the year I filled out the rebate form.   I will add that $12.50 back into the cost of diapers for this year, since I didn't include that in my calculations last year.  Note:  This year 2010 Caregivers doesn't offer the same rebates as in 2009. Date Location Brand Size Number of Diapers/Training pants Regular Price Cost Cost per…

Snow! Snow! and no Internet?

general, Rite Aid, Uncategorized
Thanks to my wonderful husband two years ago deciding we should have a generator.  He put one together and of course during this storm we haven't had to use it. Thank heavens! However to our surprise we lost our cable which is also our internet connection.  I can survive without the television (even though we had TIVO recordings) but without the internet it is shocking to the system!  I have my new fancy cell phone which helped a lot but I was still missing features that I can only get from my laptop and the internet.  Who knew we rely so much on it?  How did we live without it? I'm back and ready to post.  Will be home tomorrow with the little one.  We had over 20 inches of…

Cost: $6.76 OOP: $21.25  RCB: $14.49 I did 2 transactions at Rite Aid and I tried to use the 20% coupon savings but it didn't work since everything was on sale of course! I had planned to do the Zyrtec deal but they were out of the eyedrops.  I asked the manager about it and she was very nice about writing me a raincheck and included the $8 coupon price--eyedrops and Zyrtec 30ct.   I then became creative and bought the following. 1 Transaction 1 Sam Goody Black Elastic 50 count 75% off clearance $1.24 1 Sam Goody Chunk Jaw 2 Piece 75% off clearance $0.99 I just found out that this goes towards RCB #102 towards $1.00 rebate when you buy 2. Rite Aid Shopping Trip 9/20 – Profit $13.62!!!

Baby, Rite Aid, Shopping Trips, Uncategorized
I did it! I was able to do the transactions that I talked about HERE! Note: I did print out a couple of the $5/$20 Adperks coupons.  It seems that the coupon can be used more than once but it is YMMV (Your Manager May Vary) if your store will allow you to use it more than once.  Which is why I went to a different store.  Some people are registering a different email address and using a different computer to get a second Adperks $5/$20 coupon.  I've heard but haven't confirmed that the coupon bar code is the same. I went to 2 different stores.  One of the stores I've had issues with coupons in the past, however, the cashier knows me now and knows I like good deals. …
