I can't believe it is Wednesday already the weekend went by so fast. I'd been trying to get these pictures downloaded so I could show off my shopping trips and now I can. Back when they had the Shopper's Promotion I was trying to decide when I should use the 2 $5 catalinas. This weekend was when they were to expire so on Saturday I went in and got all of this after using the catalinas it came to under $3! Not bad. We had a funny picnic on Sunday in the garage eating salad. Will be making salads tomorrow night. I'm excited to say that I got to do the Nivea deal more than once. This is my favorite body wash. I made it to Shoppers today. When I got there the first thing I did was look for the Double Deal Washington Post newspapers which this particular store didn't carry and then off to the ad rack to pick up an ad. To my surprise was an ad for this promotion spend $25 and get $10 back. I didn't have all of the coupons with me. Friend’s Trip to Giant on 03/22/10 – Saved 76%

Wow! My friend Ruth sent me her picture and transaction totals for her first coupon trip with multiple transactions! She even rolled over the $10 General Mills Catalina deal each time and did all of this with her 2 little girls. I'm impressed! Since she is new to collecting her coupon inserts she didn't have all of the coupons available to her. She used the internet coupons and the "Spring Savings" book. Giant Shopping Trip – 3/19/10 – saved 63%

This weekend was a super busy weekend for my family. I had those $5 and $3 catalina coupons from last week's Giant trip that was to expire on 3/20/10, so I ran in Giant at 8:00 AM with my daughter (she drove the red car cart) and was able to do the General Mills catalina deal. MoneyWiseMoms has a great post about it HERE. I spent out of pocket $12.72 and got a $10 catalina to use on my next purchase. This is what it all means to save.
