My CVS Shopping Trip 8/27/2012

Yes!  You read that right.  I paid $.36 out of pocket for all you see.  I used a $10 Extra Care Bucks that I had with me from last week’s diaper deal.   I didn’t expect to pay that little.  I expected to pay around $8 or so. Which is still a great deal!

1 Cascade 75 oz $4.99

1 Dimetapp $4.99

2 Children’s Advil $4.49 each

1 Stayfree Pads 24 ct $2.00

1 Gillette 4 Ct Custom Plus $8.49

1 Gillette 4 Ct Venus Simply $8.79

1 Snickers $.99

Subtotal = $39.23

Use the $4/$20 coupon I got in my email.  Note:  If you get one of these it is recommended to print it out when you are going to use it because it will expire 4 days after you print it.  I printed mine on Friday so it set to expire on Monday.   Others printed it on Thursday so it set to expire on Sunday.   That gives you more time to plan for the following week.

Use the Buy 1 get 1 Free Gillette coupon found in the 8/5 RP (This coupon states any Gillette disposables.)  Max value $12.99  (I mentioned the value above to my cashier but she gave me the full value. That lowered my Out of pocket.)

Used a Free coupon for any Advil product  Max value $6.99 (I got this coupon because I had a children’s advil that leaked so I called the company and got this coupon.)  (I mentioned the value above to my cashier but she gave me the full value. That lowered my Out of pocket.)

Used 1 $2/1 coupon found here for Dimetapp

Used 1 $1/1 Advil coupon found Red Plum Insert 8/26

Used 1 $2/1 Stayfree coupon found Red Plum Insert 8/26

Used 1 $1/1 Cascade coupon found in P&G insert 8/26

Used $10 ECB from previous purchase

Total = $.36 (I believe because the tax came out to $1.11 and it some how subtracted some of it.)  Still not sure how this worked.

I got back:

$1 ECB for using the green tag 4 times
$5 Ecb for buying Gillette disposable razors for men
$5 Ecb for buying Gillette disposable razors for women
$4 ECB for buying 2 select medicines

Since my receipt said if you buy 2 mars you get a $1 ECB and I already got 1.   I did a quick 2nd transaction and got another Snickers for free and got another $1 ECB back.  Sweet!

Now I qualify for the buy 3 participating Pfizer products, submit for the $10 rebate found in the 8/26 RP!

Talk about a moneymaker!
