Today I went to CVS with my daughter.  I had a $10 ECB that was going to expire today so I had to use it.  I had the $4/$20 coupon from the Ready Fill booklet.  What to buy?  I decided to buy one of the blood sugar monitors since that is a profit and the Glade Soy candle.   I also took TheThriftyMama's advice and checked out the 50% off all summer sale.  The signs at my store aren't very well displayed so I priced checked everything. Walmart Shopping Trip 8/22/09

Today, we went to Walmart.  We haven't been there in a long time.  Since I've been using coupons and watching deals at other locations I haven't been to Walmart much.   We didn't spend much time, since we had to go to Shoppers too. On Sunday, I made it to Shoppers with my daughter, we got out of the house before 10AM!  Woohoo!  Shoppers wasn't that crowded either so the trip went very well.   I did the Kraft deal!   I got the $5 off next shopping trip coupon expires 8/30/09 and the rebate for $20 back after buying $25 products. I actually made it to CVS this week.  I went this evening after the little one went to bed and my hubby was at home.  I didn't make a profit on this trip, however, I did get a couple things that we can always use still for a great price. I decided to go into Staples today to get the paper deal that I mentioned before.  Click HERE to read my earlier post. Unfortunately, my Staples doesn't accept competitors coupons like Office Depot.  Big Bummer!   Click HERE to see a forum post about this and more about Office Depot at fatwallet.com. The FW MODs can verify this with Staples corporate: 1. Staples never had an official policy on their site or anywhere else stating they would accept all Office Depot coupons. My Rite Aid July Rebates! Woohoo!

I just want to take a moment to document my July Rebates and costs for Rite Aid. After buying the diaper deal (4 packs of Megas), buying some things we needed and buying some of the freebies (Stayfree, Feverall, and Rolaids), I'll get most of it back.  I'm not going to list every item I purchased but the amounts go like this. OOP=$82.10 (used 2 $5 GC NOT include in calculations, I treated them as cash.) I'll get 2 -$25 GCs and $19.00 Rebate check. Total Cost = $13.10  + Free pack of Huggies value at $11.49 I did make a mistake on the Stayfree and had to return a couple and buy some later.  I also made a couple trips since the $5/$25 is per customer.  It all worked…
