Birthday Freebies, Specials and Coupons

I love Birthdays!  Birthdays are so much fun especially when you can say you’re 24 again or maybe 21.  *wink wink*

This past year after reading many blogs about birthday freebies I signed up for several of them.  I took an hour or so off from work and picked them up.   This is what I got:

Sephora – Sign up as a Beauty Insider and get a free gift from Sephora on your birthday.  This year it is a small white eyeshadow, small mascara and small eyeliner.

Cold Stone Creamery – Cold Stone Creamery will send you an email with a coupon for a free ice cream creation to enjoy on your birthday. All ages are welcome!  The server that helped me that day gave me a bigger cup!  I gave him a tip.  Thanks!  It was wonderful.

Auntie Anne’s Pretzels – Sign up for the Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Perks and not only will you get coupons for special offers all year long but you will get something on your birthday.  I got a B1G1 coupon!  Yummy!

Bath & Body Works – As I’ve mentioned in the past, Bath & Body Works sends so many coupons and in this case I combined it with a sale.  The cashier even gave me the coupon back to use again.

Godiva – The same day I was going to the mall to pick up some of my freebies I realized that you can sign up for Godiva Chocolate Rewards the same day and get 1 FREE piece of chocolate and you will get 1 FREE piece each month just by walking in.  If you don’t have the reward card make sure you remember the email address you used to sign up.

Rita’s Italian Ice – Join today and receive exclusive offers year round, a special birthday treat and the latest scoop on Rita’s– all delivered straight to your inbox.  Joining the club is FREE! Click here to sign up today!  I got a B1G1 treat and then if you sign up your kids they too will get a treat for their birthday.

Recently my daughter had a birthday!  We had a great time.  We decided to have a simple family get together but we also included a trip to Toys R Us.  It was so much fun.

Toys ‘R’ Us – Children ages 2 – 10 will receive a birthday card and surprise gift from Geoffrey when you sign them up for Geoffrey’s Birthday Club.

In the mail I got a $5 off a $25 and then a week closer to her birthday she got a $3 off a $3 purchase, the best part is you can combine these coupons!  Woohoo! We ended up getting a baby doll stroller, baby doll bottles, ball, Popsicle holders and a play shopping cart with fake food for $22!

She got there and had a great time playing with the toys. Plus she got a balloon, a crown and her name announced on the loud speaker.  She was a little princess.

Baskin Robbins – Get a free ice cream treat if you sign up for their Birthday Club.  If you also sign up your kids they too will get an ice cream treat.

To see a larger list of Birthday Freebies check out at Hey It’s Free.

Yesterday, I went to RiteAid and did the diaper deal that I mentioned.    I didn’t have any of the wipes coupons so I instead just bought diapers.   I didn’t take a picture because I put them away before I got my act together and took my pictures.

Today, I asked my hubby if I could run into RiteAid since it dawned on me that the wipes are on sale $2/$5 and I have these high value coupons just sitting there.   I spent $6.38 for 9 packages of wipes that is $.71 a piece.  Not bad at all!

Used a $5/20 Adperks coupon.

I wanted to share some of the deals I grabbed at Walmart today.

  • Bic pens for FREE,

I love Freebies!  However, I always get freebies that I know I will use or I know someone in my family will use.  It just makes sense to me.

How to get FREE stuff in the mail?

Here is a picture of some free stuff I got this week.  I got my P&G Samples which I get each quarter.  The next time I can get samples is July 1st.  I got Cascade, Pantene, Iams Cat food, Metamucil, and lots of coupons.

Then in the mail I got an invitation to order Parent’s magazine and in that packet was several coupons like the baby water coupon and Arm & Hammer coupon.

Last week on April 15, I contacted my favorite brand of nail polish Sally Hansen and told them how much I like their products in particular the top coat it lasts for over a week!  They sent me some great coupons yesterday including a $5, $3 and $1 off coupon on any Coty brand products.  Sweet! Combine these coupons with some sales at CVS or Rite Aid and I’m sure to get some nice freebies.

Check out one of my favorite blogs called Hey’s It’s FREE they post some really entertaining freebies that most of them all you have to do is fill in a form: Name, address, email and you get the item! is another great place to sign up for some great samples.

A lot of bloggers have been talking about this great deal!  I tell EVERY person about CVS to go to the Red coupon machine as soon as you walk in to the store.  Today, I went in and the machine was out of paper, I lucked out because the manager of this particular store is great and she quickly added paper to the machine.  Out popped out some great coupons.   Including a $1 off ANY CVS hair care product!   That means you can get the above looking product for FREE!  It costs $.99.  I plan on donating this.  Now, you can also use this coupon for trial sizes that are also a $1.

Another option if you want to spend a couple dollars now is to look at Bioluxe shampoo and conditioner it is on sale B1G1 at $9.99.  Make sure you buy the conditioner because it has a rebate attachment on it that says you can get the CONDITIONER for FREE – a $9.99 Visa card.  Then both are FREE!

I do use 2 CVS cards, one is my personal one and one is a family members.   When there is a great deal I will use the other card and I always check them both at the Red coupon machine.  Today was my lucky day because my other card got a -$2/$10 off any Baby purchase excludes formula.   My card got a $4 off a box of Pampers that I’m hoping will have a good deal soon a box of Pampers size 5 is $23.

This is what I did:

-$2/$10 any Baby purchase

-3 IP Huggies Coupon

-3 IP Huggies Coupon
