Aldi: Deals 5/9/12-5/15/12

Print Friendly

Thanks to Laura from Beltway Bargain Mom for sharing the best Aldi deals this week!

I love Aldi and if we need to do a big grocery trip to the store we regularly run into Aldi.   Lately, we have seen milk at Aldi cost $1.99-$2.50 a gallon.  That is a great price for the Washington D.C. metro area.

Produce:
Grape Tomatoes – $0.69/pint
Cucumbers – $0.29/each
Baby Carrots – $0.49/bag
Little Salad Bar Garden Salad – $0.49
Multi-Colored Peppers, 14 oz package – $1.79
Mushrooms, 8 oz – $0.59
Other deals:
Nature’s Nectar Orange Juice From Concentrate, 64 oz – $1.89
Happy Farms Deli Sliced Cheese. Sharp Cheddar or Mozzarella, 8 oz – $1.99 (was $2.19)
Season’s Choice Baby Brussels Sprouts With Butter, 12 oz – $1.29
Belmont Sorbet Assortment. Raspberry, Mango or Lemon, 14 oz – $1.99
Deutsche Kuche Potato Pancakes, 10.6 oz – $2.29
Backyard Grill Fresh Bacon Cheddar Home-Style Beef Patties, 21.29 oz – $5.99 *Fresh Meat Special Buy Day. Limited stock.

Laura mentions if you’re a new Aldi shopper, be prepared to:

  • Bring a quarter to use for “renting” a shopping cart. Don’t worry, you get your quarter back at the end, when you return your shopping cart
  • Bring cash or debit card (they do not accept credit cards)
  • Bring your own bags (or you will need to purchase them at the register)
  • Get extreme savings without coupons (most items they sell are signature Aldi brands, and for the select items they sell from other manufacturers, they do not accept any manufacturer coupons)
Happy Savings!

CVS: FREE $5 eGift Card with $25 eGift Card Purchase (Redeemable In-Stores or Online!)

Print Friendly

Check this out before it is gone!  Right now CVS is offering a $5 eGift Card when you buy a $25 eGift Card.   You can purchase it for someone else or even yourself.   It will be automatically emailed to the recipient or yourself.   If you select print (like I did) they mailed it directly to me so I can print it out.

It took minutes for me to get the $25 eGift card as well as the $5 eGift card.   Some people are doing more but that is up to you.

Not only is this is a great deal for us CVS fans but this is a perfect Mother’s Day gift too.

Enjoy!
