My Purchases This Last Week – 2/11/12

Last week I got some pretty good deals.  Thought I would share them.   I do get out of the house on occasion and get some of these great finds and some of them are online too.

I learned about the Michael’s $5 off $5 coupon that we used last Sunday (expired on 2/4/12), we got a couple things for the kids.   While Baby A and I went to Babies R Us to get the formula deal my husband took Baby B and Doodle to get some cheap finds at Michaels.  I’m sure I would have found some expensive item to splurge on, but they found crayons, and some off brand lego sets, and glow in the dark sticks.  Fun stuff all for very little.  My husband and I each went to Babies R Us and got the formula deal and we found a cheaper outlet cover using a 20% off coupon.

In the mail, I got the Taste of Home book deal that they offered back in January.  Buy the 10 pack Children’s Hardcover Classics for $14.99 + $1.99 Shipping.  Great deal!

I went to Babies R Us with the boys by myself and got the diaper deal and formula deal.  I even found some of the formula with 25% more free.   In addition, I’ve purchased over 9 cans so I now qualify for a FREE can.

What deals did you get this week?

If you are a member of Swag Bucks you need to join the new Swag Bucks 2011 Fall classic! Sign up today Wednesday, October 26, 2011 registration ends soon!

If you haven’t sign-up for Swag bucks yet.  Click HERE.

What is Swag Bucks?

Swagbucks.com allows web users to earn virtual currency by doing the things they do every day – search the web, shopping at their favorite retailers, and by engaging in other activities such as phone recycling, submitting polls, and completing special offers.  Swagbucks.com is the only place on the web to get what you want without ever having to spend a dime.

I download the toolbar in each of my browsers and then search using the Swagbucks toolbar.   I get 1 to 2 bucks just for opening my browser.    After 450 Swagbucks I can earn a Amazon $5 gift card.   There are hundreds of prizes to choose from.  From Starbucks gift cards, to posters, and MP3 music.

What have you earned using Swag Bucks?

I signed up in the Fall of 2009 and I’ve earned 7 – $5 Amazon gift cards, 1 – $5 Alice.com card, 1 – $5 Fragrance.net card!   That’s over $45 FREE money, that I can use anyway I want.  The more you search the more you earn.

What are the search engines behind Swag Bucks?

Swagbucks.com uses Google and Ask.com.  Most of the time my search results are really good and there are times that I will have to go to a specific search engine and try again.

How do I sign up?

Click HERE and sign up today!

Do you get a referral when I sign up using your link?

Yes, I do.  When you search I get a couple Swagbucks too.  Then when you get your friends and family to sign up you too can get Swagbucks when they search.

What are your Favorite Blog Posts?

What are my most popular posts?

The reason I want to know and focus on them is so I can try and improve on my blog each week and bring to my old readers as well as new readers their top interests.

2010 Coupon Insert Schedule & Expiration – This post I created for myself and others to mark when to throw away my coupon inserts.

2011 Coupon Insert Schedule & Expiration – Here is the most recent 2011 post which I haven’t had time to update as I would prefer.    I will start updating this as soon as possible.

The cost of diapers 2010 – I wrote several posts about my cost of diapers during 2010.  I was hoping to continue that focus for 2011.   My plan is to update a 2011 plan of how I got a year’s supply of diapers for very little cost.  Most of my diapers came from my huge Black Friday deal at Babies R Us in 2010. We also asked for a diaper shower rather than a formal baby shower that helped a lot and Costco will exchange sizes no questions asked. Last I also use Amazon Mom for delivery at home for diapers and wipes.

NOVA (Northern Virginia) Grocery Links – I just updated the links for the local Northern Virginia Grocery coupon match-ups.   There are so many new faces and new blogs out there that are creating great grocery links!

Coupon Policies  – It seems so many of the stores are updating their policy after recent shows about coupons.    I’ve updated a couple so far.  Let me know of others that need to be updated or added.

Baby Charts

Several of my friends are having babies and of course I’m having twins very soon so this is a great time to talk about Baby Charts.   At the hospital, they ask you to track how many pees, poops and feedings occur and when.  I did some research and these are some Baby tracking charts I thought would work great for most Moms and Dads.

Are you looking for a good tracking baby feeding chart?  Well, you have come to the right place. Here are some links to some of the best that I’ve found:

Free Printable Medical Forms – This website has a great .pdf version of a feeding schedule.   It does include the times.  All you have to do is check it off.   This seems to be my favorite so far.

Gerber – Feeding Chart – This chart is very simple .pdf that doesn’t have times.  You enter the times in yourself.

Twins DoubleUpBooks.com and About.com – Feeding Chart – This chart is great for twins since it has a twin on each side.  This is a pdf file and doesn’t have times.  You enter in the times yourself.

Little Ones Feeding Schedule – Feeding Chart – This chart is a super simple .pdf that doesn’t have times.

Is there another chart that you have used or heard of that works really well?
