Great Freebies at Rite Aid – 7/6 – 7/11

ra_logo

Rite Aid continues to have some great deals!  They are especially having a lot of freebies after doing the Rite Aid Rebates.

Now, a couple things to mention about Rite Aid:

  • Make sure you go early or late in the week because the freebies usually go fast and some stores will restock.
  • Get rainchecks when you can.  The hope is you can use the raincheck when the product is available but I haven’t confirmed that you will get the rebate if the purchase didn’t occur during the week/month of the promo.  However, it is always good to get rainchecks especially if the price is good.
  • Ask a sales clerk if there are any more items in the back.
  • Remember to use a $5/25 coupon currently there is one that expires on 7/31/09

Here is a suggestion from forthemommas.com:

RiteAid Shopping Plan 6/7-6/13

This weekend I was super excited about the CVS pampers deal and frustrated because I had a $5/30 (expired 6/7) and do to family commitments I couldn’t get to CVS to get it.  This morning I found out that the deal is off and CVS has taken it off the website.  Big disappointment.  It would have been nice to have gotten diapers for $2.99 or $3.99 a pack.  However, I came across some other opportunities.

Per BabyCheapSkate:

Pampers jumbos are $8.99 at Rite Aid. Print a coupon for $5 off $25 at RiteAid (.pdf). Buy three and use the manufacturer’s coupon along with the $5/$25 and you’ll have a stockupportunity!

Per IheartRiteAid.com:

AMO Complete Multi-Purpose Solution 12oz Up to $7.99 SCR #24
-$2 AMO Complete Multi-Purpose Solution 12 oz + 05/31/09 v
-$1 amo solution

Here is my suggestion:

Buy 2 Pampers Jumbo: $8.99

Buy 1 Contact Solution: $7.99

SubTotal: $25.97

-$5/25 coupon

-$1 Pampers coupon

-$1 Pampers coupon

-$2 contact solution coupon

Total OOP=$16.97+tax

Then get back $7.99 for the contact solution

Total Cost=$8.98+tax

I just divided that by the 2 packs of diapers and it equals $4.49 a pack!

I hope I can do this deal tomorrow.

Thanks to IheartRite.com and BabyCheapskate.com

Giant Shopping Plans 5/24/09

Thanks to Redemption Unlimited for the info about the $3/$15 Meat coupon.   Click here to see the post.

This is a great deal.  Plus there are a lot of x/xx coupons this week and per Frugal in Virginia Giant accepts competitors coupons.  Click here to see the post.

My plan is to go to customer service about a couple issues tomorrow.

1. I want to ask them about the competitors coupon.

2. I want to return some Giant brand Motrin because it was expired when I bought it.  I’m used it and noticed after I used it that it was expired.  I still have the receipt.

Then thanks to Frugal in Virginia for these good deals.  Click here for her site.

I’m trying to figure out a better way to sort and organize my posts.  It has been a while since I posted since I’ve been so busy with work and spending time with my family.  I’ve noticed that when I find posts from other sites and I’m trying to figure out how to search for my coupons I think base it on where the coupon is might work better.

Giant Deal Shopping Plan -week 4/17 – 4/23

Here is a thought about this week at Giant.   And, check out Novathrifty.com for more suggestions!

Get 5 free reusable shopping bags instantly… when you buy $15 worth of participating General Mills, Scott Naturals or Clorox Green Works products in the section (see ad).

Participating items and reusable shopping bags must be purchased in one transaction with your BonusCard.  The cost of the bags will be deducted at the end of your order.  Free bag offer excludes insulated reusable shopping bags. Limit 1 offer per customer.

Muir Glen Organic Soup is part of the 5 bags free deal
-.75 SS 2/8/09 Any Muir Glen product (exp 5/2/09)
When doubled it equals to $0.99 each!
Plus, when put with the other deals it is even better.

My thought is this:
2 Scott Naturals 4 Pack each $3.50 = $7.00
-$1 4/5 SS = $2.50 each = $5.00

1 Muir Glen Soup $2.49
-.75 SS 2/8 double = $0.99

3 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers = $2.00 each = $6.00
-.50 SS 4/5 = $1.00 each = $3.00

Total before coupons = $15.49
+5 bags for .99 each

After 5 bags free and coupons
OOP equals $8.99 + tax!

Note: I had to make a correction, I typed 1 Scott tissue when it should have been 2. The Total OOP is a little bit more than I thought.

A couple things that interest me:

Aquafina 24-packs are $3.99. Use the Buy 2, Get 1 Free coupon from a recent Sunday Supplement (exp. 04/30) to get three for $7.98, or $2.83/24-pack.

Cottonelle 12-packs are $6.49, and the $1/1 coupon from the 03/15 SS would make it $4.49, less than $0.40/ultra double roll.

Scott Tissue Toilet Paper 12-packs are $7.49. There was a recent Sunday insert coupon for $1/1, which would make it $5.49, or less than $0.50/roll.

Mueller’s Pasta is 10/$10. There was a $0.55/2 Sunday insert coupon (exp. 05/31) which would make this pasta $0.45/box.

Smart Balance Butter Spreads are 2/$5. There were $1/2 coupons in the 02/01 and 04/05 RP inserts, which would make these $1.50/each.

Turkey Hill is 2/$7. There was a $1/1 coupon in the 02/22 RP for light recipe or fro-yo, which makes it $1.50/each.

There is an in-ad coupon for a free gallon of milk at checkout when you buy any four participating Kellogg’s cereals with coupon.

Participating cereals (printables offered at your own risk):

Corn Flakes, 18 oz., 2/$6

You get a $5 Catalina when you buy $20 worth of Kimberly-Clark Products, including:

Cottonelle Toilet Paper, regular, 24-pk., and triple roll, 8-pk. Cottonelle Ultra Toilet Paper and Cottonelle Aloe & E Toilet Paper Double Roll, 12-pack., Kleenex Facial Tissue, 75-200 ct., Scott 1000 Tissue, 12-pk., Scott Extra Soft Tissue, 8- and 12-pks., Scott Towels, Long Lasting Roll, 4-pk., Viva Towels, Regular Roll and Choose-a-Size, 6-pk. and Regular Roll, 8-pk.

Best matchup deal here we’ve seen so far? Cottonelle 12-packs are $6.49, and the $1/1 coupon from the 03/15 SS would make it $4.49, less than $0.40/ultra double roll.

Buy 3 x Cottonelle Ultra Toilet Paper 12-packs, $19.47
Buy 1 Kleenex box to get it over $20

Subtract $6 for 3 doubled Cottonelle coupons.
Subtract $5 for Catalina.
Net ~$9 for 36 rolls of toilet paper, or $0.25/roll – and a box of Kleenex for a bonus
