CVS Shopping Trip 10/10/09

Cost: $2.67 OOP $6.67 ECBs $9 Saturday was a busy day!  My daughter and I went to both Rite Aid and CVS. Here is a little information on why CVS shopping can be so worth it.  I got all of this for under $3 but you will notice that I got some products that I might not need.  Right now I have a pretty good stockpile of shampoo, conditioner, soap, nail polish and toothpaste,  but because these items were free or close to free it helped me get the diapers that I needed for really cheap!  I can take these products donate them, give them away, stockpile them or  use them for other purposes.  There are some great blogs that talk about other uses for products like my husband can…

Yesterday, 9/19, I treated my family to some yummy sushi!  It was so good.  I haven't had it in a couple months.  It was a very nice celebration.  The sushi resturant I went to happens to be next to Walmart, since this was a take out order, we went to Walmart while we waited. Today, I went with my daughter to Harris Teeter.   It was a great trip.  Not only did I get this and so much more for only $34.80, the original amount being $78.64, I had the best service at any grocery store in the area!   I really praise the Harris Teeter in Manassas on Galveston Court off of Prince William Parkway.  Thank you!  I will be a returning customer. Today I went to CVS with my daughter.  I had a $10 ECB that was going to expire today so I had to use it.  I had the $4/$20 coupon from the Ready Fill booklet.  What to buy?  I decided to buy one of the blood sugar monitors since that is a profit and the Glade Soy candle.   I also took TheThriftyMama's advice and checked out the 50% off all summer sale.  The signs at my store aren't very well displayed so I priced checked everything.
