Anniversary, Sewing Expo and other things

This week is a busy week for me. My daughter was diagnosed with a double ear infection. She is feeling a lot better. Good news is, it's the Sewing Expo this week! Woohoo! Yesterday, I learned about the serger and how to create some beautiful stitches with it. I also learned about fusible web. I've worked with fusible stabalizers but haven't tried the fusible web before. It is great because it doesn't melt as quickly as other brands do. Plus, this weekend is my anniversary weekend! 7 years ago I married the most wonderful gentleman in the world. I'm so blessed to have him in my life, he loves, cares, and supports me and our little girl. I love him always and forever. Besides, he uses coupons when going shopping! …

I've spent a lot on contacts when you add it up. This year I found a great deal for contacts. If you have a Health Savings Plan (HSP) or Federal Spending Account (FSA) make sure you use that to save even more. Acuvue Oasys contact lens are only $24.15 per box! Reminder starting tomorrow! Virginia is one of the states that offers a Sales Tax Holiday for the first weekend in August. That is a 5% discount! For those that don't have kids or have little tots, this holiday is a great time to buy items like underwear, socks, t-shirts, and sneakers. It is also a good time to buy craft supplies for the younger kids like paint, paper, and markers. Start thinking about Christmas gifts! The best part I found out is diapers, baby items and even wedding dresses ($100 or less) are included!! See list below. What’s your Laundry Schedule? and What do you use to clean your clothes?

How do you do your laundry? Do you do it all at once? Do you take your time and a do a load once a day? Leave me a comment with your thoughts. I've had this problem for sometime now. Since I work full-time, I rush around the house in the morning to get the baby, husband and myself out the door. I sometimes throw in a load of laundry into the washer and take a load out of the dryer and put it into a basket for later folding or hanging.
