Today, I went to Babies R Us to buy some gifts for a Baby Shower I will be attending later this month for a very good friend.  I'm super excited!  I love baby showers and I love gift giving. My daughter and I went swimming this morning and shortly afterward we went up to Babies R Us while I was there I asked the customer service cashier about their coupon policy and I learned a lot!  I got some great deals. 1.Always check Babies R Us website for $5 off a $25 purchase! CVS Deals 8/16-8/22

Great deals at CVS this coming week! Note:  I have some updates below. There is a $5/$25 and $5/$30 coupon sent via email.  I stopped at CVS this evening (didn't buy anything because I didn't have my coupons with me. Silly me!)  I got a $7/$49 coupon when I scanned my Extra Card Card at the Red Coupon/Price Machine!  That is a new one!  Check out more coupons that will print out HERE.  Always scan your card BEFORE you shop! Make sure you call the 1-800 number on the back of your Extra Care Card and request to receive emails.  They will even send you a coupon shortly after you call.  It is well worth it!  Check out my post HERE explaining CVS savings. Why you should buy a Sunday 8/9/09 Washington Post this week.

I was thinking about the Red Plum coupons and the reason I buy the Washington Post each week.  Currently, I have a subscription and will be canceling it soon since I don't have a weekly discount anymore.  Instead I will go to the store and get the Sunday Double Deal on Sundays.  There will be some Sundays I might not be interested in getting it, like the Holidays don't have coupons.  So, in the long run I will save by only buying the ones that I want.  There are some Sundays that it makes sense to buy more than one or more than two.  I will try and write a post on Saturdays to say if it makes sense to buy the paper or not.
