CVS Deals 11/8/09-11/14/09

cvs

I’m trying to think of a catchy phrase for this.  Get more for less at CVS?   Sounds more like a Target slogan.   Get the Bucks at CVS?   I don’t know.  Silly right?  Leave me a comment with a suggestion.

I used my CVS ECBs last week for some items I needed so now I’m going to start fresh this week.   I’ve been shopping at CVS now for over a year and I wouldn’t say I’m a pro at this but I’m learned a lot over this year and the way to really save money is not to spend much at all!  Easy right?!  This means  SMALL transactions.   It means not buying everything on sale.

Let’s start Getting the Bucks at CVS!

CVS Savings Week#1

  1. I’m going to look at easy transactions that will include coupons that you can get in our local papers or online.   Always check your coupons because every region gets different amount coupons and that changes the transaction.
  2. Start collecting the coupon inserts every week from now on, and save every coupon!
  3. If you haven’t registered your card with your email address, go ahead and do so at CVS.com, or call 1-800-SHOP CVS. They will send you a $4/20 coupon.
  4. Save your ECBs to use next week to “roll” them over!

New CVS coupons:
There are several great coupons released by CVS this week.  One is a $5/20 that doesn’t expire until 12/31/09.  Go HERE to get this high value coupon!  (I had problems with this site so instead you can use a $5/30 after taking a short quiz HERE!)

    Hi Holly.
I was wondering when I get the Inserts from the Fairfax Times on a Weds, which date I would label it. Is it labeled for the prior Sunday or the upcoming sunday?

Thanks as always for your help and getting me into this! 🙂

    • Hi Sherry

Look at the side binding of the insert very carefully it should have a date but it is super small. It will also say Fairfax Times and a couple other newspapers too. I write the date that the binding says. I even wrote a post about Organzing Coupons HERE.
      Enjoy!
      You’re very welcome!
      Holly
