How we are dealing with Mosquitoes this year!

Homemade Mosquito Repellent Thanks to a friend last year introduced me to this awesome recipe for a Homemade Mosquito Repellent.   I can spray this on my clothes or on my skin and I won't be bit.    It is amazing stuff.  Materials: 15 drops lavender oil 3 Tbsp of vanilla extract 10 drops of citronella oil or lemon-eucalyptus oil 1/4 Cup lemon juice Spray bottle Directions: Combine above ingredients in spray bottle. Fill remainder of bottle with water, water/vodka or water/witch hazel mixture. I used water and vodka and it worked great.   I purchased this Essential set from Amazon it is perfect for this application. Hi to all of my readers. Welcome to 2013! I have mentioned this in previous posts this last year and I thought I would get into more detail. 2012 was a great year for us. Watching our kids grow has been so rewarding. My husband and I have decided to create a company. I'm very excited. Where have I been?

I apologize for not posting in over a month!  Life has been pretty crazy.  I've had to concentrate on myself, my family and working full-time.   As some of my readers know I'm pregnant with identical twin boys and it has been a great pregnancy but exhausting.  Some things just have to be put on the back burner including my blog. I will be delivering via scheduled C-section really soon and can't wait to meet my little boys.   My family is so excited. I have a lot of posts I want to create including all of my preparations for the boys arrival like diapers, wipes, clothing, formula and even baby food!  Even though I haven't posted I'm still always looking for good money saving deals and finding ways stretch that dollar. …

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm so thankful for my wonderful family and especially the support they have provided me these last couple of months.   I have some great news to share!  I'm pregnant with identical twin boys.   The pregnancy is going well but it sure caught me by surprise.  I have had a lot of all day sickness and extra exhaustion.  That is the reason I've had to put off  blog posts these last couple of months.    My daughter is very excited and is growing up fast.  I'm so thankful for my wonderful husband who has taken extra time and energy to work around the house and help take care of us. Where have I been?

Where have I been? Life has been a little crazy around my household.    As I've mentioned before I work full-time outside the home and then I get home and do my best to take care of my family.  My daughter is now active toddler who wants "Mommy" and "Daddy"  constantly in the evening and since she gets a good nap time during the day her bedtime has been extended to 8:00/9:00.  After getting her to bed, it is pretty much time to go to sleep myself so my blog has been neglected, even my email and my reading up on deals. Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July!  We sure did. Boom Boom!  My daughter says. I've been so busy lately with work and taking care of my family that I haven't had as much time to post deals.  Since it is getting dark later it has been more difficult to get my daughter down earlier since we all want to play later.  Then the rest of the chores and sleep take presidence over posting.   I have some posts coming up and hope to get to them really soon.

Friendly Reminder – No Red Plum or Smart Source Coupon Inserts but a small General Mills this Weekend – 5/30/10

Correction: Confirmed!  A General Mills insert is in the paper for 5/30/10.   There was rumor that there might be one.  The last coupon expires 8/21/10. Since this is Memorial Weekend there won't be any coupon inserts this weekend. No Red Plum, no Smart Source and no P&G.  You don't need to buy any papers this weekend.   If you still get the paper I'm sure there will be some good ads and sales since Memorial Day is the kick off for the summer.   Think of it as a break this weekend from coupons!  The following weekend will have all 3! Please enjoy the Holiday with your family, friends and think about our men and women that have served our country.
