First let me say Happy Father's Day!   My hubby had a great day staying at home getting things done that HE wanted to.  I got to spend the day with my daughter and my parents.  It was a very busy and hot day in NOVA. I was lucky enough to get out and stop at CVS all by myself.  My daughter definitely isn't the age to understand going to store and waiting Mommy to get her transactions straight. Here are the two transactions I did today with 2 different cards. At the CRT Red coupon machine I got a $4/$20 coupon! A week or so ago I also got a CRT for the $3 off a box of Huggies with that same card. I bought 1 Huggies Snug and Dry…

Again and again I go to CVS and I'm amazed at how much I can get for so little!   I try really hard to lower my out of pocket and in this case my out of pocket is a little bit more then I wanted but I came out ahead at the end. On the right hand side of the photo, I got the free Extra Care bucks $2 ECB just for scanning my card and it expires 7/13/10. This is the amazing deal!   Old Spice is currently $4 right now and you will get $4 ECB limit 1.  However, when I did this by buying 2  and using the B1G1 coupon in the P&G 6/5/10 I got back $8 ECBs!   Woohoo!   Sorry, I don't have both in the…

How do moms do it?    I'm a mom of one child and I still don't know how moms do it.   Dare, I say that I took my toddler to CVS today for a quick run!  I got out of there as fast as I could but she wanted to "play". I have to admit it is fun to look around at CVS but keeping a toddler under control is tough.  My daughter loved the CVS coupon machine so that worked out for a minute then she decided to run around and try and open everything she could get her hands on.  It was tough. I had 2 coupons that expired this week a $2 ECB and a $3 CVS coupon on any purchase.   I was so bummed out.  I…

Check your Valpak for CVS food saving coupons!

I love getting the mail. It is so much fun to go to the mailbox and find something that you have been waiting for. It is also fun to get surprises in the mail too. Today, I got our tax refund check (yippee), my $35 VISA debt card from a Rite Aid deal, and some freebie samples from Walmart. I happened to look through my Valpak of coupons. I don't always go through them. This time I was thinking to myself, wouldn't it be nice if there were some CVS coupons and sure enough the last flyer I picked up was a CVS booklet of food savings!  Even though the coupons are low value they can be combined with manufacture coupons and sales to make a great deal.   Check your…

I can't believe it is Wednesday already the weekend went by so fast.  I'd been trying to get these pictures downloaded so I could show off my shopping trips and now I can. Back when they had the Shopper's Promotion I was trying to decide when I should use the 2 $5 catalinas.  This weekend was when they were to expire so on Saturday I went in and got all of this after using the catalinas it came to under $3!  Not bad.  We had a funny picnic on Sunday in the garage eating salad.  Will be making salads tomorrow night. I'm excited to say that I got to do the Nivea deal more than once.  This is my favorite body wash.  I'm so glad I got introduced to it…
